Congratulations

G’day Stampers,

Today’s card is one I created using one of the sketches from our Pretty Pattern Papers (check out the Page above) Tutorials.

Last week I shared with you a card using the same sketch & as it turned out, I was asked to create card using Pinks, White & Browns for a special occasion.

As I wanted to use the same layout from the one I shared last week, I decided to go with the Bloomin’ Love Stamp Set along with the Bloomin’ Heart Thinlits & of course the matching Love Blossoms DSP (retired).

I updated it by changing out the circle to squares by using the Layered Squares Framelits (loving these…), embossing a piece of Blushing Bride Card & adding Pearls.  Actually, to be truthful, I found the piece of Blushing Bride already cut to size & embossed so it was sort of easy to go from there.

Bloomin’ Heart

I saw a card when looking for something else on the internet the other day & loved the way the card had been created using DSP & Card in a Mosaic way.  After tracing it back to the original post, I would like to thank Kelly for sharing it her wonderful card.

This is a perfect way to use some of your DSP.  You can have as many pieces of DSP or Card as you like to create your own version of the card.  I decided to use just 2 pieces of DSP along with 1 coordinating Card for my mosaic.  Creating your card this way, you are able to create 3 more cards using the same Card & DSP.

The Mosaic Card fits in perfectly with our Pretty Pattern Papers whereby we encourage you to use all that gorgeous DSP you have sitting in your cupboard & not a game to cut into it.  Be sure to click on the link to purchase any of the tutorials available.

Don’t forget, by clicking on the link below, you are able to download a Free Tutorial to create your own card.  It also includes all the supplies I’ve used plus the measurements.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Hey, Girl

G’day Stampers,

My card today highlights  our Pretty Pattern Paper Tutorials which teaches you ways of using that gorgeous DSP you have sitting in your cupboards or on your shelves waiting to be used.

untitledAs this lovely stamp set “Hey, Girl” is retiring at the end of the month, I thought I would share a card I created  a couple of weeks ago featuring the Technique “Paper Piecing“.

I also wanted to share with you one of my more popular pins using the same lovely set, again using the “Paper Piecing” Technique, along with lots of colouring.  You can find the Free Tutorial for this card by clicking on the highlighted link.

For today’s card I Paper Pierced the top & skirt while I coloured her hair, skin, bows & shoes with a Blender Pen & Crumb Cake & Rose Red Inks.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Thank You

Last month I found myself needing a Thank You Card.  Even though I have heaps for the markets I do, I always like to create from scratch when creating for individuals.

My inspiration came from our “Stampin’ Success” Magazine we, as Demos, receive in the mail.  It is packed with Inspiration, Ideas & Tips.  All I did with my card was change out my Colours & DSP.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Happy Day

I was playing with some new “stuff” the other day, when suddenly a light bulb went off!

I had the Bold Butterfly Framelit Dies trying to create a card using 002wmeblogthe gorgeous new DSP – Love Blossoms Paper Stack, when suddenly I realised the Bloomin’ Heart Thinlit Die would work with the Butterfly Die, so I went to work.

I’m loving that I can now get multiple uses from this Die & have heaps of ideas in my head.  If only my hands would keep up.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’
