Remarkable You #3

Remarkable-You-3---Close-up

G’Day Stampers,

Today is card #3 & #4 of the set of Thank You cards I created using the Remarkable You Stamp Set.

Card #3 – I’ve kept the layout fairly simple by stamping the flower & sentiment direct onto a piece of Very Vanilla CS in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.Remarkable-You3---Thank-You

The flower has been coloured with Stampin’ BlendsPumpkin Pie & Daffodil Delight.  I’m really happy with the end result.

I layered the stamped piece of Very Vanilla CS onto a piece of Tangerine Tango & then to the Very Vanilla Note Card.

To complete the card I applied Candy Dots – Brights (retired) to the front.  You could easily replace with current Embellishments & colour with the Stampin’ Blends.

Card #4 – Exactly the same layout except for the colours.  I’ve layered the Very Vanilla CS onto a Remarkable-You---Rich-Razzlpiece of Rich Razzlebbery & then to the Base Card – Very Vanilla Not Card.

This time round, the flower has been coloured with the Stampin’ Blends – Rich Razzleberry & Old Olive.

I still have 2 more cards to share with you in the next couple of weeks.

Until next time, Happy Stampn’

Today’s card is #2 of the set of Thank You Cards I created yesterday using Remarkable You Stamp Set.  Did you catch it while it was on sale yesterday?

I’ve created it exactly the same way as my card yesterday except this time my card is Landscape & I’ve used Stampin’ BlendsRich Razzleberry & Cherry Cobbler.

I layered the stamped piece of Very Vanilla CS onto a piece of Rich Razzleberry CS & then Remarkable-You1---Thank-Youto the Very Vanilla Note Card.

I will have the 3rd card to share with you tomorrow so don’t forget to pop back in to chack it out.

Remarkable-You-x-2---Thank-

Remarkable You

Remarkable-You---Thank-You-

G’Day Stampers,

I trust you all took advantage of the 24 hours sale yesterday & will again for the remainder of the week.  I know I did & can’t wait to create with some of the new products on its way to me.

Today’s card is one of a set of Thank You Cards I’ve created with the lovely Remarkable You Stamp Set which was on the 24 hour sale yesterday.  I do apologise that I don’t have a tutorial for you to download as it went off in the mail yesterday.

I stamped my image direct onto a piece of Very Vanilla CS in Memento Tuxedo Ink, coloured with Stampin’ Blends Rich Razzleberry & Daffodil Delight.  I applied Clear Wink of Stella to the bottom parts of the petals.  I love it when I can use 2 different colours to colour my flowers – it seems to make them more real somehow.

The sentiment is from One Big Meaning Stamp Set & was stamped direct onto the card front in Memento Tuxedo Ink.  I created a “frame” around the images with the Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker before layering onto a piece of Daffodil Delight CS & then to the Base Card – Very Vanilla Note Card.

To complete the card I applied Candy Dots – Brights & Regals (retired) to the front.  You could easily replace with current Embellishments & colour with the Stampin’ Blends.

If you pop back tomorrow I will share with you another of the cards created using the same set & supplies.

Until next time, Happy Stampn’

Flirty Flowers

Flirty-Flowers---Close-Up

G’Day Stampers,

I hope you all had a lovely weekend & did heaps of creating!

Today’s card has been re-created from one I did a month or so ago & have never shared with you.  It is a simple little card but one that I am happy with.  I am not sure whether it is the colours or the cute little Flirty Flowers Stamp Set.

To create today’s card I’ve used the brand new Stampin’ Blends which will be available to everyone 1 November.  Believe me, you will want them in your collection.  They are just wonderful!

I randomly stamped the images direct onto a piece of Whisper White CS in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink before proceeding to colour the main flowers with the Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends.  The larger leaves have been coloured with the Old Olive Stampin’ Blends, but very light while the smaller ones I’ve left as they are.

For some of the smaller flowers I’ve used my Blender Pen & Melon Mambo Ink For some reason I love Daffodil Delight & Melon Mambo together especially when you add touches of Basic Black which is what I layered the Whisper White onto before layering onto a Daffodil Delight Base Card.

The sentiment is from Bunch of Blossoms & has been stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Wood Words – Thank You

Wood-Words---Close-Up1

I created a couple of Thank You Cards last week for my customers of which most have already been posted (forgot to take photos) but I do have a couple that I will use for the remainder of September.  I’ve used the Wood Words Stamp Set.

Wood-Words---Lemon-Lime-TwiThey were all created with the 2017-2019 In Colours & the lovely fantastic Note Cards & Envelopes – Whisper White, Page 195 of the Annual Catalogue.  Along with the In Colours I also used Sahara Sand which worked perfectly with the colours.  I am loving these for quick & simple cards.

The first lot of cards sent out were stamped directly onto the Note Card itself while the next lot of cards had a layer of contrasting In Colour CS.  My samples today have Lemon Lime Twist & Berry Burst.

All I did was randomly stamp my images in Sahara Sand & Lemon Lime Twist onto a piece of Whisper White CS.  The sentiment is from the same set & stamped direct onto the Card in Lemon Lime Twist.  I then layered it onto a piece of Lemon Lime Twist CS beforeWood-Words---Berry-Burst adhering to the Note Card.

My 2nd card I am showing you is the Berry Burst one which was created exactly the same way.

I repeated the same process for the other cards but substituting the In-Colours each time.

I’m not too sure which one is my favourite as I am loving these In-Colours.  Which is your favourite?

Until next time, Happy Stampin!

Feather Together…

…meets Stampin’ Up! Embossing Paste.

Yes, you have read correctly, Stampin’ Up! now have the lovely & fun Embossing Paste.  I, 20170613_111258blog-insiefor 1, have been waiting a long time for this to happen.  Thank you so much Stampin’ Up!

Today’s card is one that we did at our Training Weekend.  We got to play with the Paste & also the gorgeous “Feather Together” Stamp Set.  Our card is straight from Page 176.  I will be honest & say I forgot to order the Decorative Masks, so had to go along with one that has retired, but it still gave us the result we were after.  You could also create your own Mask by using a Framelit or Thinlit.

We placed a small amount of Embossing Paste onto a plastic sleeve, added a couple of drops of the Lemon Lime Twist Ink Refill & mixed it with a Palette Knife.  You can add as much as you like to the Paste to give you more depth or go as light as you like for just a small tint.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Sneak Peek

I am sharing with you today a card which has a little bit of old & a little bit of new product.  Can you guess which is which?  In fact, this card was a couple of Thank You 20170517_100131blog-close-uCards I sent out last month to customers.

I saw this fold on Pinterest (where else, you may ask) & thought it a little unusual & a little different so I went with it.  I think the card showcases the lovely daisy off to a “T”.   I think she has a video that you can watch but I just sort of went by the photo.  Thank you Lisa for your inspiration.

I can see the “Delightful Daisy Suite” being one of my favourites.

The new 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue goes live in a couple of days, but one of the perks of being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator is that we get to pre-order items from the Catalogue & have a play prior to it going live.  If you live in Australia & you don’t have a Catalogue as yet, please contact me.

To download your free tutorial which includes Measurements (Metric & Imperial), as well as a Supply List of all the product I’ve used to create my card, click on the link above the photo.

Not long now until the Retiring Products have gone forever, pop on over to my Online MayShop to place your order.  Don’t forget to use May’s Host Code to receive a gift from me.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Hey Chick, Thanks

If you have seen the 2017 SAB Catalogue, you will have seen the great little “Hey, Chick” Stamp Set.  They are just so cheeky & I will admit I am a lover of chooks.  Today’s post is showcasing this set once again.  In fact, I started out casing the Card on Page 16 but it soon took off on its own.  It was perfect for a couple of Thank You Cards I needed this month.

You can find another card using the same set here.

Yep, I’ve used the fantastic Watercolour Pencils from the 2017 Occasions Catalogue.  As you have probably seen over the internet, we are all crazy about them.  Be sure to add them to your supplies, you too will love them.

By clicking on the link below, you will be able to download a tutorial to create your own card.

Don’t forget to use the Hostess  Code when purchasing online.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Thank You

My post today is using the gorgeous “Beautiful You” from the 2017 Occasions Catalogue.  Last week, we had a challenge to create a card or project using something from the new Occasions Catalogue.  Well, with everything going on, I have only just managed to do mine, but hey, better late than never.

In fact, I’ve created the cards to send out to my customers in January.  I did a couple in each colour.

Have you noticed the “Brick Wall”?  I created that with the Early Espresso Watercolour Pencil & then softened the lines & a little blending with my Blender Pen.  I also “Paper Pieced” my dress.

Just a reminder to use the January Hostess Code when placing an order Online, as you will receive a free gift at the end of the month.

Don’t forget you can download your FREE Tutorial by clicking on the link above the photo.

Until next time, Enjoy!

Jar of Flowers

I actually decided to have a play this week & the challenge over at Freshly fms267Made Sketches popped up.   As it’s been a little while since I’ve done one  with them I thought it the perfect opportunity to do so.  I actually had “Falling Flowers” sitting on my desk left over from another project.

Getting out of my comfort zone, I  decided to go “Bright” which are not my “go to colours” or “first cab off the rank” but hey it’s a good thing to try new colours.  I also fliped the sketch on its side to challenge myself a little more.

I stamped the middle jar from “Jar of Love” Stamp Set onto a piece of Whisper White Card in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink before repeating it onto a scrap of paper & then fussy cutting for my mask.  The mask was then temp adhered to the stamped jar before stamping a jar either side.  This creates the effect of the middle jar being in front of the other 2.  “Thanks” was stamped inside the jar with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.

The lids were stamped direct onto scrap Whisper White Card in Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise & Daffodil Delight Inks before being die cut with the corresponding “Everyday Jars” Framelits by running through the Big Shot & adhering to the tops – Melon Mambo & Tempting Turquoise with Multipurpose Adhesive Glue while Stampin’ Dimensionals were used on the Daffodil Delight Lid.

The Leaves were stamped direct onto 2 of the jars in Old Olive Ink.  The Flowers were stamped direct onto more scrap Whisper White Card 20161219_132907_resizedblog(love it when I get to use some of my scraps) in Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight & Melon Mambo Inks before die cutting with the coordinating Framelits.  I then decided to stamp & die cut another small leaf  only because I had made a slight smudge – don’t you love it when you can cover it & no-one will ever know.  As the Flowers are 2-Step Stamping, I stamped off once prior to stamping the 1st image.  The stamped Whisper White Card was then layered onto a piece of Basic Black Card leaving a small edges showing around 3 sides & a larger one on the LHS.

As I thought the card looked a little bare, I then decided to add a few flowers down the side so I stamped a couple of leaf images direct onto a piece of Whisper White Card & then layered the Jar piece over the top allowing the leafs to overlap a little prior to layering onto a piece of Basic Black Card & then to the Base Card – Whisper White.

To finish the card, the Flowers were randomly adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals before Rhinestone Basic Jewels were adhered to the centres.

I’m loving the bright colours of the card especially teamed up with Basic Black.

Why not head over to Freshly Made Sketches & play along.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’
